Rented a hanbok and visited Gyeongbokgung Palace and it was one of the best decisions of my time in Seoul. Wearing the traditional dress changes how you experience the palace - you feel like you are part of it rather than just observing it. The other visitors in hanbok, the palace guards in their ceremonial uniforms, the traditional architecture - it all comes together. Also hanbok wearers get free entry to the palace. The rental shops right outside are easy and affordable.
