First week in Hamilton, confused about Hamilton Gardens

One thing people forget is weather. Around Hamilton Gardens, bad weather can make the plan feel much less fun.

I would not send someone there as their only introduction to Queenstown, but it works well as a second or third stop.

If you're out west, The Chippy in Titirangi does snapper better than anywhere. Worth the drive.

The Johnsonville train line suburbs are reliable — Ngaio and Khandallah have a decent commute via train.

Landing in Queenstown next Tuesday. Has anyone rented with [agency] before? Are they legit or should I look elsewhere?

Anyone know where to find good Japanese in Auckland? Been craving it since I arrived.
