London: unmatched career opportunities, cultural stuff. But the rent will financially destroy you. I was spending 60% of my income on housing.

Manchester: I can actually afford to live. My flat is 3x the size for half the price. The Northern Quarter is everything Hackney was 10 years ago. Curry scene rivals London. Beer is cheaper.

If you're young and career-focused: stay in London. If you want a life: Manchester. If you want both: Leeds.
