Visited Seoraksan National Park in October and the autumn colors were extraordinary. The mountains were covered in red, orange, and gold, the granite peaks rising above the forest. Hiked to Ulsanbawi Rock and the views from the top were spectacular. The park was busy but the scale is large enough that you can find quiet trails. Had makgeolli (rice wine) and pajeon (scallion pancake) at a mountain restaurant. Korean autumn is one of the great seasonal experiences in Asia.
